The mobile phone has become an integral part of our daily lives. We could say that more than a technological artifact, it is an object with an important cultural impact on all our spaces and rituals of social interaction and especially among our youth. However, the situation is very different in educational institutions, and far from considering this medium as a potential educational tool, it is just neglected, breaking with the natural continuity that should be established between our students school and real world contexts. Through our research, we would like to know and understand the reality of the integration of mobile phones in our classrooms by means of a pilot study on beliefs, attitudes, practices and possibilities of this medium regarding one of the main actors in the educational field: teachers |
