Paper Abstract:

This paper describe the creation of a society of intelligent agents hierarchicaly distributed, assigned to provide proactive
management to networks based on the Ethernet standard, when using protocols of the application layer. So that this was
possible the forms are described of as information supplied by MIBs (Management Information Base) RMON2 (Remote
Monitoring 2), SNMPv2 (Simple Network Management Protocol Version 2) among others they were joined to techniques
of AI (Artificial Intelligence), DAI (Distributed Artificial Intelligence) and Expert Systems (ES), that together with the
Java language and Shell JESS (Java Expert System Shell) solved in an effective way several problems common to nets. |
