Paper Abstract:
|
Due to recent advances in computer hardware, mobile computing systems such as PDAs and high-end cellular phones are
capable of running Augmented Reality (AR) systems. The mouse and keyboard-based user interfaces of traditional AR
systems are often times no longer suitable for mobile AR systems because of the changing of the hardware interface and
user environment. For this project, we propose a new computer vision-based interaction interface that is expected to
greatly improve the usability of mobile AR. We also expect this new model to facilitate the development of innovative
commercial applications and research projects. |
