Paper Abstract:
|
In this paper, we present a new approach to represent and recognize two-dimensional views of the objects using contour features. The external outline of the object is decomposed into portions of curves at the concavities points. Each portion is modolized by some parametric cubic curve using the B-spline approximation. The proposed technique is applied over real images and the obtained experimental results are presented and discussed. |
