Paper Abstract:
|
Context-awareness is an important element for developing mobile services. Often, context is available as sensor data but
not in a form that can be exploited in (mobile) applications. In this paper, we present an approach to generate high level
context from sensor data. First, we describe and illustrate a process model and then we explain the design and
implementation of software components that are integrated in a framework supporting the development of mobile
applications. Thus, we demonstrate the evolution of sensor data from raw data streams to aggregated data and to
interpreted information. |
