Paper Abstract:
|
This paper demonstrates alternatives to replace items of the game design document (GDD) during the development of digital games. The creation and development of a game, in general, is carried out using a GDD, containing all the indications, information and the script of the game, for the team to follow throughout the development process. There is no exact formula for producing a GDD. Various templates are proposed and misunderstood information at different levels of responsibility may create irreparable problems after deployment to production. This paper proposes the analog prototyping as an efficient alternative to GDD, in association with benchmarking and agile development. |
