Paper Abstract:
|
In the laboratories of most universities, there are many activities like paper surveys, investigations, and presentations. These activities generate research information such as papers, presentation files, ideas, and comments. For efficient research, it is important to accumulate and utilize such research information efficiently. However, this puts a burden on students, who are novice researchers, to extract the optimal information from a huge volume of research information of various kinds at their disposal. This paper describes methods of extracting and visually presenting research information according to the activity situations and viewpoints. It also provides formal models of the methods for a theoretical treatment. Use of these models should lead to effective utilization of research information and research activities. |
