Paper Abstract:      The present article describes the modeling of a system to integrate ubiquitous computing and virtual social networks, exploring the different concepts and technologies related to those subjects. The model is called Social Card, a card that, combined with other technologies, allows for greater integration between physical and virtual worlds. The model was developed taking into consideration the university campus, due to the possibilities that it brings. It’s on the university campus, where learning and socializing takes place, that physical social networks are expanded or created. These physical social networks are the bases of virtual social networks. The goal was to improve the interaction within physical social networks by using information gathered in a ubiquitous manner, integrated with existing virtual social networks. The evaluation of the system was done using usability testing, along with the Technology Acceptance Model. The results were positive, suggesting that the proposed model is viable.
