Paper Abstract:
|
This article presents the development and implementation of an Expert System for Diagnosing Cognitive Learning Styles
(ESDCLS) of Distance Education students. The system was developed with the software Expert Sinta, and the database
based on the research instruments proposed by various authors. The ESDCLS was applied to students of Graduate and
Post Graduate Courses of Federal University of Santa Maria, with the objective of contributing to new perspectives to
improve the strategies of teaching, providing the professor to obtain more information about his students, thus offering an
individualized learning experience, giving them the information on a personalized and targeted way. The results will
form a Masters dissertation, in which will be adapted to the virtual learning environment MLE - Moodle the four styles of
learning most highlighted in the search. |
