Paper Abstract:      This paper reports the introduction of e-learning as a way to boost the use of new models and strategies of teaching and learning introduced by the new curriculum reform at Eduardo Mondlane University. The study presents the role that e-learning plays for the organization of learning contents, learning activities, communication and interaction among lecturers and students. This study was carried out using interpretative phenomenological approach methodology, analyzing five of the ten relevant quality aspects of e-learning evaluation. The results show that there is progress in terms of practical adoption, the use of the models and strategies, but there is still much to be done.
