Paper Abstract:
|
This paper reports on the early stage of a small scale project implemented in an Australian institute for vocational education, the aim of which was to accelerate the diffusion of technopedagogic innovation and facilitate self-generated change in praxis. Forty teachers have been provided with access to mobile phones and service to engage in active experimentation in their personal and professional lives. It is expected that the project will initiate shifts in participants attitudes as well as culture to technological advancement by implementing a praxis intervention strategy (Carroll, 2010) and result in new forms of professional learning. The paper reports on the early stage of the project and the research design that is investigates patterns of evolutionary learning and the transfer of techknowledge from personal to professional practices. |
