Paper Abstract:      In this short paper we describe the work in progress in a research project. The purpose of our research is to develop, experience and implement a method and software system for solving the following issues concerning the evaluation of online public services quality: • Online public service quality evaluation, considering the supply process, interface with user and information provided by the service’s portal; • Online public services measurement and evaluation, considering the users’ characteristics, services’ typology and online service degree of availability. • Developing software methods and solutions to assure the correlation between service quality and service quality development. • Evaluating online public service quality from the point of view of both user and supplier. In this context the article presents the description of the key-elements of online public services and the approaches used worldwide regarding the evaluation of online public services quality.
