Paper Abstract:      In order to objectively evaluate the usability of an Information System, a definition of a methodology enabling repeatable and fair evaluation is necessary. In this paper, we address this problem by defining a methodology for fully objective usability-centric evaluation of recommendation algorithms assisting the process of business process creation. According to the methodology, an evaluation of the usability of recommendations is done entirely with the use of the dedicated software coupled by a predefined test set. As the methodology does not assume the participation of any real user (i.e., a human user, not a simulated one), it is both fully objective and repeatable. Despite the fact that the solution is focused on a specific application domain, it may be accommodated to be used for evaluating any recommendation-based user support enhancing different types of user-system interfaces.
