Paper Abstract:
|
Nowadays, we see innovation in publishing industry by appearance of a new phenomena called e-publishing. E-publishing typically puts its aim on generating, maintaining, keeping, and diffusing electronic data using computers and information networks. E-readiness assessments try to guide development efforts by providing some suitable tools for comparison and gauging progress. Although, many e-readiness assessment tools have been made, important indices related to the readiness of human resources of publishing companies toward e-publishing which can be used as their competitive advantage have not been systematically investigated. So, finding indicators related to human resources of publishing companies on making e-publishing products can be described as a critical phase. Furthermore, we have to evaluate the readiness of managers of publishing companies toward e-publishing. Finally, describing our new model, we will evaluate readiness of 49 big Iranian publishing companies in human resource section. At last, based on the evaluation, the readiness of managers will be assessed. |
