Paper Abstract:
|
Currently, methods to protect information in networks have become essential for applications that target sensitive data
traffic. For this, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) play a key role in securing attributes such as confidentiality, authenticity,
and integrity of the data packets that are submitted to the worldwide network. This paper presents a study of some
characteristics of 3 opensource VPNsoftwares (StrongSwan, OpenVPN andWireguard) in order to make a fair comparison
between the cryptographic techniques employed by them in site-to-site tunnels. |
