Paper Abstract:
|
Blended learning is the combination of traditional instructor-led classroom learning and technology-based e-Learning.
This paper addresses the issue of speeding up the learning curve of learners. It is proposed an analysis framework that has
as input the activities performed by learners both in classroom and within e-Learning environment. The analysis
framework has the role of a decision support system which has as output knowledge regarding learners. The obtained
knowledge is used by course managers in traditional classroom learning and by e-Learning system for advising students
regarding the activities and resources that are appropriate for them. The business logic of analysis process uses state of
the art machine learning algorithms for classification. The students are classified taken into consideration performed
activities and based on obtained classification appropriate advice is derived. |
