Paper Abstract:
|
The singular points, core and delta, are widely used in fingerprint classification. Therefore, it is important for a fingerprint classification system to validate the captured singular points. In this paper, a novel blurring detection algorithm based on adaptive image enhancement, compact boundary segmentation, and wavelet entropy clustering algorithm is proposed. The proposed framework has been tested on FVC2002 DB1 and DB2 databases. Experimental results demonstrate that we can detect blurring regions very successfully. |
