Paper Abstract:
|
This paper presents the scope and path the ODL Department of the University of Bucharest is using in providing students
with Lifelong learning courses.
In a society where a 14 to 18 years education is usually not sufficient for a professional career spanning decades, lifelong
learning provides a self pacing form of education embracing the concept that one should be opened to new ideas, skills
and behaviours regardless of the age and social factor.
In this paper we present the ECDL Lifelong Learning Programs delivered by our department, aiming at training students
to obtain internationally recognized certifications at the START level. |
