Paper Abstract:      The Semantic Web was supposed to revolutionize the web but for the time being the adoption of semantic technologies seems to be rather limited. This paper presents an approach that bases access to E-Government services on a semantic model. Ontologies are the primary resource when finding out which information is needed by a particular public service. Instead of using classical electronic forms a model interpreter interactively gathers required input from citizens. The quality of the interaction process is improved significantly since the system knows about the logical context of the enacted service, while provided data is checked against semantic axioms by a reasoner. The approach is independent of the actual service implementation and can thus be used almost everywhere as long as a semantic model exists.
