Paper Abstract:
|
The Internet has become the universal source of information for millions of people to conduct research and find useful information to fulfill their needs. Visitors utilize e-commerce websites via the Internet to complete online financial transactions which provides convenience, efficiency, and security. Hence, allowing the user to save more money and time than the traditional brick-and-mortar institutions of the past. Users access websites from virtually anywhere on the globe at anytime. Human lifestyle and the methods of conducting business in a global market-place that is continually evolving to meet the demands of a rapidly changing society is the driving force behind e-commerce. The Internet, e-commerce, and websites have become an essential resource to both businesses and customers world-wide. Their strategies have not been previously successful at meeting the needs, nor effectively generating potentially millions or billions of dollars in revenue from disabled individuals. There are millions disabled, potential online customers that are within reach of connecting to the e-commerce framework which represents the storefronts of small to multinational business world-wide. This situation presents two major opportunities unlike nothing ever before in the history of commerce. First, bridging the connection between business entities and disabled individuals with WebPages that are specially designed to meet their needs; and secondly, these websites need to provide information that search engines can access, index and record to ensure that the information, product and/or service that the disabled users millions of new potential customers can access the websites of businesses worldwide. These two situations present an opportunity with limitless potential, an essential necessity, and the next step in future of e-commerce. The purpose of this research paper is to provide two solutions: an efficient accessibility website framework that a disabled individual can utilize, and to ensure that the businesses websites framework allows a search engine to access essential information. Linking these two solutions together will ensure a financial bridge between disabled, internet customers desires and needs; and the products and services that the businesses offer are brought together via the Internet within an efficient, e-commerce framework. |
