Paper Abstract:      This paper presents a conceptual model and propositions for the impacts of E-commerce on an SME’s approach to international distribution. Examining how E-commerce and the Internet system can influence the degree of international distributors’ involvement, or more specifically, the proportion of sales received through its international distributor(s) to the total sales of an international SME, the paper discusses factors of E-commerce capabilities, which lead to the choice of international distribution. Suggestions for future research and empirical testing of propositions are offered.
