Paper Abstract:
|
A critical factor for the success of any web service is the response time that its clients experience. In this paper we describe an architecture of a web service, which dynamically migrates or replicates to better performing and closer nodes to its clients. Our system includes novel algorithms with which the replicas in the system adapt to the changing environment depending upon its workload, proximity and access rate of the clients. The system is client-focused implementing effective resource utilization and request distribution by monitoring the access rate of its clients. |
