Paper Abstract:      With the aim of making human-computer interaction more natural and enjoyable to use gestures came into focus of HCI. When using gesture interaction the question of whether there should be an additional form of feedback is needed is important to answer. In this paper an experiment is described, concerning an assessment of three different forms of feedback, representing different levels of information (low information level with only the cursor changing, medium level of information with the detected gesture being displayed and high level of information with the detected movement of hand being displayed). Results show a preference of the users for the feedback form with the highest level of information. However, feedback with the lowest level of information was assessed nearly as positive, so both variants seem to be possible to use.
