Paper Abstract:
|
Digital Transformation has become an imperative for most organizations. It is a journey that has been induced by the
accelerated pace of technological developments (Data, Cloud, IA, ML, RPA, Agility,
). The integration of these
technologies in almost every industry has fundamentally changed the operational processes of companies. It impacts
business levels, starting with business models and ending with the customer journey. The adoption of these technologies
has also offered an opportunity for these companies to grow, increase agility, strengthen governance models by
eliminating traditional silos and ensure better knowledge and proximity to the customer.
This theme, "Digital transformation", has been very widely covered in recent years, it has aroused great interest in
research both in academia and in practice and has been the subject of several studies. This is a very complex subject and
many question marks remain, particularly on the definition of digital transformation, we have identified more than 100
definitions spread over time and between sectors of activity. To approach it properly, it is essential to define or describe
the Digital Transformation well first.
The main objective of this article is to give a general review of the systematic literature on Digital Transformation, to
bring together the different definitions given and to propose a metamodel to explain this notion and show the interactions
between the different concepts concerned by this concept. Through this metamodel, we will show the complexity of this
transformation and the need to use a Framework for the management of the Digital Transformation. |
