Paper Abstract:
|
A disease network is a collaborative healthcare network focusing on a single disease, or a group of diseases, whether
professional or formalized. A disease network may follow a hub and spoke model. Providing these networks with an
efficient digital support poses some challenges. This paper describes the methodological approach to design the
information system supporting such a disease network. After identifying a general model with network features, a use
case related to the Italian Rare Cancer Network is reported. |
