In particular the courseware focuses on supporting NASs in learning the pronunciation of the Restricted Arabic Consonants (RACs). A review of the most popular and common courseware and websites used for teaching Arabic language to NASs is provided. Then, the methodology and the model used in developing the multimedia courseware is described and explained focusing on instructional design model proposed by Alessi and Trollip.
