Paper Abstract:      The purpose of the research is to obtain a better understanding of the essential components of business project management and capture the new gained knowledge in a machine readable format to facilitate software engineering. This paper presents how this interdisciplinary link between social science and computer science can be established through ontology modelling; and demonstrates how the resulting model can be used by the requirements analysis or conceptual modelling phase in the development of a Project Management Information System (PMIS) for business projects.
