Paper Abstract:
|
In this reflective article, we make suggestions as to the types of technology-based activities that lend themselves to an e-Learning scenario, offering a new perspective on teaching and learning in the Social Studies. These activities can be completed or repeated outside of class time, providing an expanded school day. We taught college juniors studying to become K-12 teachers how to design e-Learning activities for their future students. They reflected on their use and offered comments to give an idea of the strengths and challenges of each. |
