Paper Abstract:
|
As the importance of health management is emphasized recently, the number of people utilizing smart devices for their personal exercise management is increasing. Most smart devices only provide information about the number of simple motions and the amount of exercise and do not provide services related to exercise motions. This study proposes a design of a multi-sensor based exercise motion recognition system that combines a smart-band, a motion sensor device, and a smartphone. The proposed system uses a motion sensor device in addition to existing Smart Band to acquire Motion Raw data of X, Y, and Z axes for each exercise motions. After that, it is to support the effective personal exercise management of users by recognizing the exercise motion through filtering for noise removal, selection of each motions range, DTW (Dynamic Time Warping) algorithm process and providing information to the exercise motion through the smartphone. |
