Paper Abstract:
|
Instructional Design for e-learning is changing under the influence of advances in technological fields such as the Semantic Web, adaptive systems, mobile technologies, etc. In this scenario, Microlearning is a new educational approach, whose origin is related to the spreading behavioral tendency to ubiquitous computing. It seeks to adapt education to the new condition of mobility and continuous computing by framing learning content into micro-units and providing them to learners during the day as short effort micro-activities. In this paper the authors propose a framework for the development of microlearning systems, exploiting the above mentioned technologies, and in particular semantic technologies for knowledge representation and adaptive techniques for microlearning personalization and adaptation to user situation. |
