Paper Abstract:
|
IMT-2000 has been developing in both cdma2000 and W-CDMA, and their convergence or harmonization has also been discussed in several standard organizations. Besides the most experts and the communication providers have the common concept about network evolutions, but their opinions are specifically various in progressing. No matter what they do, nevertheless it is truly regarded that the convergence or the integration is essential to prevent costs from overlapping investment and to efficiently utilize network resources. In this paper we propose Integrated Gateway System for mobile internet service in 3gpp/3gpp2, that is named Advanced-Mobile Internet Data Access System(A-MiDAS). And we describe mainly the efficient method and the profitable management information for managing the integrated system of A-MiDAS. As management structure, we applied Simple Network Management Protocol(SNMP) framework and proxy capabilities to it. This can guarantee the original capabilities on every device like networking, data transmission, or session management, and secure authentication/authorization through strict access from outsides. |
