Paper Abstract:
|
The Feature Interactions (FI) problem occurs when services (or features) behave incorrectly once they are used together. Two approaches have been recently developed for resolving FIs : a client-server (CS) approach and a mobile agent (MA) approach. The present study is an attempt to answer the following question : what are the benefits of using MA instead of CS ? More precisely : 1) we improve the two approaches of resolution; 2) we propose models of performance for evaluating the traffic, the cost of traffic, and the delay of traffic; and 3) we apply these models for evaluating and comparing the performances of
MA-based and CS-based resolution methods. |
