Paper Abstract:
|
In the demographic situation which the EU, and some of its countries in particular, among them being Poland, is facing in the coming decades it is necessary that the factors having significant influence on the GDP growth and work productivity are used more effectively. One of those factors is ICT however projects of this type tend to end up with failure definitely too often which results in wasting a substantial amounts of money having been invested in them. The enclosed paper will attempt at answering the question: how to make better use of the potential of this very factor? One of the possible answers to this question is the necessity of software products enhancement which can be encouraged by the use of the ISO/IEC standards dedicated to the measurement of software products quality and functionality. Using them increases chances for the completion of software projects within the planned time and at the estimated costs and resulting in development of software being of high quality and complying with the functional user requirements. |
