Paper Abstract:      The enterprise has evolved to large Information Technology environments, where IT configuration management is very complex. Automating configuration management processes and the provisioning of complex software within large heterogeneous environments became a necessity for large enterprises and providers of IT services. The complexity and inter-dependencies of software components make a provisioning task of software on stand-alone system difficult, and make provisioning of distributed application on several systems even more complex. Effective provisioning of heterogeneous tasks to heterogeneous environments makes this work an art. This paper discusses the issue using capabilities and requirements formalization in terms of Rough set theory, expanding the automation of deployment decision of previously considered provisioning a one-node software system [5] to multi-node applications, and offers system and method for secure and verified provisioning in heterogeneous environments.
