Paper Abstract:      This article presents a study case applied to the company “RidgeRun Embedded Solutions”. Previous research has described the core value activities system of this firm as a base of an e-business model of such system. Deepen the analysis, we keep on refining the model, but envisioning an expansion of its capabilities and position on the embedded systems market. Using the concentric diversification approach, such expansion is intended to preserve core capabilities without compromising coherence and consistency of activities. By applying the analysis of the industry’s forces, an activity system for an enhanced e-business model was proposed which responds to the expansion of RidgeRun.
