Paper Abstract:
|
Governance is an often cited term in connection with business information systems. But it is not always clear what is behind it. Our paper takes a closer look into governance approaches for complex enterprise architectures and compares them with each other. For this reason we investigated different architecture and frameworks regarding governance, the consideration of the degree of system transparency as well as the ability to control business scenarios. The focus is put on ITIL, SOA and TOGAF and operational governance. We propose a best of breed approach enhanced by our research. |
