In this paper I will compare the latest version of MySQL with Oracle 9i Database Systems for teaching Database Principles. As both these database applications or programming software are text-based systems, have built-in functions and are very versatile, so it helps in teaching the database principles, as these are used in real life environments. But each has its own peculiarities and similarities. |
