Paper Abstract:
|
Intuitive means of human-machine interaction are needed in order to facilitate seamless human-robot-cooperation. One of these means can be situation awareness which allows for appropriate interpretation of human actions and expectations. In this paper, a method of human action recognition based on hierarchical Hidden Markov Models is presented. Furthermore, the recognition results are used in combination with a Description Logics based reasoning system for augmenting situation awareness. |
