Paper Abstract:      This paper describes an application to monitor on-line Word of Mouth across different Internet services and how the collected data can be used to feed a company’s on-line marketing strategy. Our motivation lies on the theory of social maps and scale-free network laws. We describe briefly buzzMonitor, which is our first prototype for the task of measuring and monitoring conversations among consumers in on-line communities.
