Paper Abstract:      This paper proposes a concept of HEMS-lifelog that is a combination of a personal lifelog and records of HEMS sensor data. The main purpose of the HEMS-lifelog is to increase the effectiveness of energy saving with home energy management system (HEMS). HEMS gives a user insight energy consumption in his/her home mainly through presentation of various energy usage data, where the bar chart and the line graph are well-known visualization methods to grasp trends of the data. The insight obtained by the presentation enhances the user's saving intensions. There is an expectation to strengthen the effect aroused by the insight and keep the effect sufficient in a long period. Since the conventional presentation method is not enough for this purpose, the HEMS-lifelog approach records manually/automatically a person's events in the life, HEMS data, and as many as sensor data relating to HEMS simultaneously in the same framework. By publishing the HEMS-lifelog on SNS, typically Facebook and Twitter, we hope that other person or system is able to share the data and experience in the lifelog, this bring further energy saving effect elsewhere. We in this paper show a concept of this approach and basic design.
