Paper Abstract:      This paper seeks to deepen the understanding of IT management as well as of the rationality of decision-making, and the accuracy of information used in IT decision-making. More specifically, this study presents a systematic literature analysis of the research that has been published in the last five years. Comprehensive analysis will help identify the primary research gaps that still exist, while also offering a summary of the most recent advancements within the field. The findings of this paper are based on a systematic review of literature, conducted using electronic database searches, a manual search, as well as snowballing. After subjecting identified papers to a quality evaluation and study selection criteria, 49 relevant publications were identified for the analysis. The SLR identified research gaps in 'IT management,' including a lack of studies on the behaviour of organisational agents akin to the Theory of Planned Behaviour, an absence of research on decisions by gatekeeping boards and their accuracy, and a scarcity of studies on the realised quantitative benefits of IT investments.
