Paper Abstract:
|
We show how automated methods can be used to predict dominant or submissive personality traits from text. We collect text from a number of subjects who then complete a standard personality questionnaire that provides an indication of their dominant or submissive characteristics. Statistical analysis is then used to find features of the text which are significantly different between the two groups. Finally a naive Bayes classifier is trained using these features to correctly categorize text authors as having either predominantly dominant or submissive personality. |
