Paper Abstract:
|
Automatic individual adaption is a suitable strategy for improving interactive systems, especially for recurring tasks in public and working spaces. We present a prototypical speech-based system and its first evaluation to study adaption possibilities in such contexts. Only 7 of the 16 participants consciously detected the adaptions, so the positive effect observed for the overall quality is not significant. However, most of all participants gave positive feedback for the adaptions in a follow-up interview. We discuss preliminary findings and requirements for the following implementations and evaluations. |
