Paper Abstract:
|
While the assets of collaborative tagging and related concepts of publishing annotations are commonly
accepted in lifestyle communities (an exemplary reference is the number of users of flickr and del.icio.us)
this methodology is not integrated in most software products [1]. In this work we identified assets especially
for user support in workflow management systems. While a lot of research has been done on automated
process modelling [2] and execution both tasks need human interaction and decisions in several types of
processes. One scenario for the application of collaborative tagging in workflow management is the retrieval
problem of components in a-priori defined process libraries which is a very common scenario and thus of
special practical interest [3]. The subprocess retrieval approach supports process modelling by identifying
predefined components and provides decision support for the import of such identified components into
current projects. This work represents a methodology for the improvement of tagging which aims at more
precise metadata for improved query results. |
