Paper Abstract:
|
Biometric systems based on template information require that samples are compared with a selection of stored template
values to determine their validity. Such systems are associated with the risk of potential compromise of all data protected
by the biometric should the template database itself be compromised. Features of voice signals can be employed in
template free biometric encryption, eliminating the need for storing templates of pre-captured signals for use as a basis
for comparison. In this research, we suggests that the binary form of the normalised voice signal information holds useful
information that can generate the unique absolute keys needed for a template-free biometric system. |
