Paper Abstract:
|
The Survey of Electronic Commerce and Technology (SECT) was started in 1999 by the Science,
Information and Electronic Information Division (SIEID) at Statistics Canada. The SECT was the first
national survey to publish figures on the use of electronic commerce. For the six years since its inception, the
survey has collected information from Canadian firms regarding their use of Information Communication
Technologies (ICTs) and their pattern of buying and selling online. |
