Paper Abstract:
|
The paper comprises an extended discussion of the possibilities that Web 2.0 applications offer to doctoral researchers, where such applications fit in early 21st-century higher education, and the main issues that are associated with their use. The paper covers 13 categories of web-based applications that taken together comprise a suitable infrastructure for a complete research environment that can be accessed anywhere on an internet-connected PC or laptop. Each is described in a brief paragraph that is aimed at would-be users of these applications, with hyperlinks to examples. |
