Electronic health records show potential gains both in economic and health terms, especially when such records are as complete as possible, and patient centred. Its use can be enhanced when integrated into an app, easily accessible and used by patients. However, both patient centred electronic records and health apps are not yet widely used by patients, nor integrated into health systems. The question we propose to discuss is whether health app developers' business models have the right incentives for patients to add to these apps, feeding them with data |
