Paper Abstract:
|
Early identification of physiological deterioration is a fundamental aspect for an effective health treatment, mainly for elderly and cardiac patients. This identification should be carried out for an anywhere and anytime monitoring system, which is able to analyze vital signs and identify possible problems. This work discusses the use of a pre-trained Bayesian Network, specified to mobile phones on the Android platform, which accounts for the identification of cardiac problems. The use of mobile phones is justified once they are devices that are almost full time with their uses. The results of the network training, which used 13 attributes and 240 instances, and inference phases are discussed in details. |
