Paper Abstract:      Fuzzy logic programs provide a basis for both capturing imprecise knowledge and performing approximate reasoning. In this article, we develop and report an approach to logic programming with type-1 fuzzy models, based on the Prolog paradigm. We describe both the syntax and the semantics of type-1 fuzzy logic programs, and briefly demonstrate their relationship with the well-known Mamdani fuzzy inference systems. Besides implementing knowledge-oriented and control-oriented applications with the mainstream Prolog tools, the approach provides a method for aggregating and weighting modules of logic programs, thus establishing a rudimentary way to implement massively distributed fuzzy logic programs with explicit interpretation contexts.
